What to Do When Your Trial Expires and Your Account is Locked

If you've recently finished a trial of SimpleURL Pro and haven't selected a billing plan, you might find that your dashboard is currently locked. Don't worry—your existing short links are still redirecting, and it's easy to unlock your account!

Here are your options for unlocking your account, depending on your current needs:

Option 1: Start a Subscription Trial (7 Days Free)​

If you know you want to keep using SimpleURL but aren't quite ready to commit to a full paid plan today, you can start a new subscription trial. This unlocks your account immediately and gives you 7 free days of full access to evaluate the platform further.

  • Best for: Users who want to test everything (analytics, custom domains, link-in-bio) for a few more days before their card is charged.

Option 2: Purchase an Add-on​

You don't need a recurring monthly subscription to use SimpleURL! Purchasing any single Add-on instantly unlocks your dashboard and converts you to an active Free Plan user with that specific premium feature enabled.

Add-ons are one-time payments (or highly targeted micro-subscriptions). Before committing to a full $29/mo subscription, do the math—you might save significantly by only purchasing the exact feature you need.

Here is how to decide which Add-on is right for you:

  • If you generated more than 5 links during your trial: By default, free accounts are only allowed to keep a maximum of 5 active links. Excess links will soon stop redirecting. To keep all your links running smoothly without a full subscription, purchase the Extra Link Counts Add-on.
  • If you have fewer than 5 links but want insights: If you only need basic link shortening but want to know where your clicks are coming from (location, device, referrers), purchase the Analytics Add-on.
  • If you want to build trust and increase clicks: If you want your links to look professional and trustworthy (e.g., link.yourbrand.com/sale), purchase the Branded Domain Add-on.

Simply head over to your dashboard's Pricing page or the Add-ons page.
